Vortech updated their blog post on the recent 577whp dyno run. PSI was 8
Posted by michael adrian at 11:18 PMThe Youtube video stated that it was pushing 6psi. But it turns out that the dyno mis-calculated and Vortech offered that it was calibrated for 8psi. The second dyno caught the correct boost figures.

Their Blog entry reads...
"On January 23rd, 2011 the Vortech Superchargers 2011 5.0L Mustang GT was brought out to GTR High Performance to show off the newly released complete 5.0 Supercharging Systems at the SVTPerformance.com Dyno Day. All in attendance were floored when this basically stock + blower & exhaust car threw down back to back runs of 577 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER & 568 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER on GTR’s Dynojet dyno.
This setup is calibrated for 8psi – the decrease in boost pressure registered by the dyno may be due to wheel slip. Notice the difference in the boost readings and torque curve on these back to back runs, with no adjustments having been made.
You too can have a daily driven, 600+ horsepower beast by contacting your local Vortech Distributor today and getting this amazing system on your new 5.0 Mustang. With the highest efficiency, reliability, and performance on the market, you can never go wrong with Vortech Superchargers."
