If anyone is looking to do a NA setup on the 5.0, looks like the Boss 302 Intake manifold is a must.


It is made of lightweight material, not upsetting the weight distribution of the car, adds top end power. WMS tested the intake manifold along with Dynatech long tube headers with catless mids, JLT CAI.

Even better yet is to pair the boss 302 intake manifold with a centrifugal supercharger. I can only imagine what this 5.0 engine can do with this intake manifold, upgraded pistons and rods, centrifugal supercharger blowing 10 psi, and custom tuning for 93 Octane.

Still undecided between Edelbrock/Roush vs a centrifugal setup.
