2011 Mustang Soundoff Video. Off Road x pipe + Roush, Hushpower, and Ford Racing GT500
Posted by michael adrian at 8:08 PMThe below is a owner's review on his own quest to battle drone and find the right tone. He has a Lethal Offroad x pipe. The only thing changing in the video are the axle backs. Roush sounds pretty loud. Louder than I expected.
What are your thoughts? I am still undecided with which exhaust combo. To be honest I am still enjoying the stock exhaust with the windows down. I think owners have complained the stock ones are too quiet only because there is more sound proofing in the 5.0 than the 2010. I bet the stock system sounds great to passers by outside my car.
Compare that to the stock Ford exhaust below, I think the stock holds it's own too.
